2025   WHATS MY STORY

1993 Graduated as a Registered Nurse, now with a very eclectic CV.

A four year OE to the UK widen the experiences as a Pulse Nursing Agency casual nurse, many interesting placements.  Cardiac Cath Labs a long term placement within the NHS.  I pivoted and landed in Harley St permanent role with a prestigious cosmetic surgery clinic as Assistant Theatre Manager.

Working in these environments has given me a wealth of experience and knowledge into the human factor and wellness scenarios in large organizations.  A journey I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

Continuing with my passion for health and wellbeing I have commenced studying to be a PreKure Master Health Coach. I have achieved the Certificate in Health & Wellness and continue my study and professional development with the Certificate in Mental Health.   My intention to be able to deliver holistic care in my professional capacity for my clients.  With this training and my former experiences I am highly skilled and understand the elements of Behaviour Change, Nutrition, Exercise, Mind-Body Medicine, Research Skills and Navigating the New Zealand Healthcare System. A holistic view is then given to the scope of work understanding we are dealing with the HUMAN FACTOR in every scenerio.

I have extensive experience in this field and will continue through ongoing research and development with my partners to have the most up to date and effective drug and alcohol policy’s and testing options for my clients.

Experience gained from working alongside clients has made me very aware of the varied circumstances that can surround the misuse of alcohol and other drugs, and have seen first-hand the effects that a positive result can have, not only on the individual, but also on their families.
